Themes Readme File
------------------

INSTALLATION:
- Click 'Continue' to install Myst III: Exile Themes.
- Your existing logo files (startup and shutdown screens)
  will be automatically backed up.
- Desktop shortcuts will be installed that refer to the 
  themes with graphics that more closely match the user's 
  current screen resolution.

UNINSTALL:
- The installer will act as an uninstaller on a system 
  that already has Myst III: Exile Themes installed.
- User will be given the option to attempt to restore 
  the logo files. This operation will fail if the logos 
  or their backups have been changed or removed or if the 
  user does not have the correct access rights.
- Myst III: Exile Themes can also be removed from the 
  Add/Remove Programs control panel.

TO USE:
Either double click on the .theme files, or access 
the desktop themes control panel by going to your 
start menu, settings, control panel, and double click 
on "desktop themes." You should then be able to select 
one of the Myst 3 themes by selecting "other" from the 
drop-down themes menu, and navigating to the folder 
where you unzipped the themes.

EXTRA WALLPAPERS: 
Check the 'Program Files\Plus!\Themes\myst 3 exile' 
directory for extra desktop wallpaper. To implement 
desktop wallpaper, just open the wallpaper file in your 
web browser, right-click on the image, and choose 
"set as wallpaper."

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If there is no "desktop themes" icon in your control 
panel, you'll need to install desktop theme support. 
If you have Windows 95, you'll need to install the 
Plus! package, which is sold separately from Windows. 
If you have Windows 98, ME, or 2000, here's how to 
install desktop theme support:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. On the Windows Setup tab, check the Desktop Themes box.
4. Click OK.
