This is a two-page magazine advertisement for Riven that appeared in Wired Magazine's July 1997 issue, spanning pages 50 and 51.
The setting of this advertisement has little to do with Riven. The web address www.riven.com is etched onto a tree on the left side. On the right is a discarded page, probably a callback to the discarded page on Myst Island. The text on the page probably reads "Gaza frequens libycum duxit Karthago triumphum" repeated several times.
The copyright notice is hidden in black text on a tree on the upper left. Unlike the advertisement from September 1997, this copyright notice doesn't mention Red Orb.
